The overall objective of gender integration is to move towards gender transformative programs and policies
Under no circumstances should programs or policies use an exploitive approach (principle of “do no harm”)
The classification of a program or policy along the gender continuum is a helpful tool to assess our current level of gender integration. It allows us to ask “How can we move towards being more transformative?”
